SUMMER PROGRAMS

Girls in the Game provides sports, health and leadership programs in partnership with schools, parks and community centers in Chicago, Baltimore and Bloomington. Participants can try a variety of sports like soccer, lacrosse, yoga or volleyball in a friendly, non-competitive environment while also learning about important health and leadership topics like self-advocacy and positive body image. Our programs include after school programs, a summer camp, clinics, one-time programs and teen programs!

Sports & Leadership Summer Camp

"Through Girls in the Game, I learned that when you expose young girls to new ideas, it allows them the opportunity to think for themselves. In doing so, girls gain the courage to act on their own."

The Girls in the Game Sports & Leadership Summer Camp provides a safe, exciting space for girls to get active and learn new leadership skills for four weeks each summer. Daily activities include sports like lacrosse, yoga, dance and basketball, fun guest coaches, field trips, learning about health and practicing leadership skills. Other activities include swimming, an end-of-camp talent show, time spent with teen leaders and more. Bus transportation and lunch is also included.

Registration is open for our 2024 Sports & Leadership Summer Camp! Monday, July 8 - Friday, August 2nd at Chicago Jesuit Academy (5058 W Jackson Blvd). Overnight camp will take place from Wednesday, July 31 - Friday, August 2nd.
