What is the cost of summer camp?

There is just a $40 Registration Fee to save your participant’s spot!

How do I register my camper?

1. Save your camper’s spot by paying the $40 Registration Fee on our website.

2. Complete the camp packet at one of our in-person events, exact dates TBD.

3. Enjoy the summer!

Where and when will summer camp take place?

Camp will take place at Moore Park (5085 W Adams Ave) with Chicago Jesuit Academy across the street as our alternate location for inclement weather. Summer Camp will take place from July 6th - July 31st.

Will we have overnight camp this year?

No, unfortunately we will not be able to offer overnight camp this year. Girls in the Game has experienced a decrease in funding, along with many other nonprofit organizations, and we made the difficult decision to not offer overnight camp as it is one of the most expensive parts of the summer camp experience overall. However, we are working to bring more exciting guest coaches to camp than in previous years, and we hope to be able to offer overnight camp again in the future!

How many counselors will there be?

We will have a 1:8 ratio of coaches to campers.

What about field trips? And swimming?

We plan to do both! In the past, field trips have included swimming at Douglass Park, ice skating, and more. We are currently planning all the field trips for the summer and will update parents and guardians once they have been confirmed.

Is lunch included?

No, campers will need to bring lunch each day.

Is bus transportation included?

No, daily bus transportation will not be provided to and from camp. As costs continue to rise and the fundraising climate remains challenging, these changes helps us keep camp low-cost and accessible for families and makes it possible for Girls in the Game to continue to provide a 4-week, full day, meaningful experience for participants.

Arrival: 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Morning Announcements: 9:15 AM - 9:30 AM
Activity Rotation 1: 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM
Activity Rotation 2: 10:20 AM to 11:05 AM 
Activity Rotation 3: 11:10 AM to 11:55 AM 
Lunch: 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM
Clean Up: 12:50 to 1:00 PM
Whole Camp Activity: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Team Time: 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Clean Up and Prepare to Leave: 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM
