There’s a place for everyone on our team and Girls in the Game encourages everyone to get in the game and play an important part in providing opportunities to girls throughout Chicagoland.
Named Scholarship Program
Each year, Girls in the Game’s Teen Squad members gain important leadership skills by training for and leading healthy lifestyle workshops for younger girls. Teen Squad members feel empowered by the difference they can make in their own communities and in the lives of younger girls, and those girls learn the importance of living a healthy life.
As our teens serve as Girls in the Game ambassadors by leading interactive sports and health workshops in schools and parks, meeting with corporate leaders about the needs of girls and expanding their knowledge on sports and health-related careers, they earn scholarship money for college. Girls in the Game wants to reward these teens for their hard work and encourage them to dream big when imagining the impact they’ll have on the world.
You can name one of these scholarships! Through the Girls in the Game Named Scholarship Program, every $2,000 pledge, payable up front or over four years, results in you making a difference in the lives of our teens. You will be able to see firsthand the impact you make in our teens’ lives through regular letters and updates from the girls in our program.
