Girls in the Game Two-Year Car Lease Raffle-Official Rules and Regulations


Girls in the Game, a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, is conducting this raffle to raise funds for ongoing charitable purposes.

Ticket Price
The purchase price of a single raffle ticket is $50 each. Checks should be made payable to Girls in the Game. Tickets cannot be purchased on this website or by email. All entries sent via mail must include payment by check or credit card. An order form is available through the Girls in the Game office. Contact for information on the form. Tickets will also be available for sale onsite at the Field of Dreams gala on Feb. 22, 2018. Tickets can be purchased via cash, credit card or check at the event.

Sales of raffle tickets will cease at approximately 8:45pm on the day of the drawing (Feb. 22, 2018). The Car Lease Raffle is open to the public. The winner need not be present at the Field of Dreams gala to win. The winner will be awarded a two-year lease on a 2018 Ford CMAX Hybrid SE, courtesy of Gillespie Ford.


An individual may purchase as many tickets as he or she may wish, subject to availability. First come, first served.


Ticket purchases are not tax-deductible or refundable.



Purchasers of raffle tickets must be legal residents of the United States, residents of the greater Chicagoland area and 18 years of age or older on or before Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018. The winner will be required to complete an IRS form and present valid government ID to claim the prize. Staff of Girls in the Game are restricted from participation in the Car Lease Raffle.



The prize is a two-year car lease on a 2018 Ford CMAX Hybrid SE. The lease shall have a limit of 10,500 miles per year; for mileage in excess of that limit, the winner shall be responsible for payment of a mileage overage fee of .15/mile. The approximate retail value of the car is $26,545. Within 7 days of notification, the winner must claim acceptance of the prize. Lease is  non-transferable and may only be claimed by the ticket purchaser.


All federal, state and and local income, sales and/or excise taxes and fees that must be paid upfront are the responsibility of the winner (approximately $1,000-$2,850, depending on county). Winner must complete an IRS form before receiving the prize.


Waiver/Limitations of Liability

Entrants release Girls in the Game, and its respective Board, Committee Members, officers, volunteers, and employees from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession of the prize. Any liability of Girls in the Game shall be limited to the ticket price paid. In the case of a dispute, Girls in the Game’s decision shall be final. Entrant agrees to allow Girls in the Game to use his/her name and image without any compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle. Any and all addresses and contact information of the purchaser will not be released to the public.
