Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers Raises Money for Girls in the Game

From the appetizing aroma of food navigating its way from the banquet hall into the hallways of the Chicago Union League last week, one would anticipate walking into a standard seated dinner in an elegant ball room. However, Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers was dishing up much more adrenaline with the meal.

In the center of the banquet room stood a boxing ring, ready for the Windy City Boxing to run eight rounds of amateur fights – all for a great cause. On one side of the ring, a cigar rolling table was stationed where guests could pick up their very own cigar for the road. And on the other side, guests visited the silent auction to bid on items like tickets to a Bulls Game, dinner and dancing, or a Chicago staycation. Guests and sponsors of Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers’ “Fight Night” raised $13,000 for Girls in the Game, helping to raise funds and awareness for the sports and fitness, nutrition and health education and leadership development programs reaching more than 2,500 girls in Chicago every year.

Girls in the Game would like to thank longtime supporter, Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, and all of the generous sponsors and guests who participated in the silent auction. Together, caring businesses and individuals help Girls in the Game to build the overall health and well-being of girls!
